Who is Eivor's true love?
Eivor meets Petra while hunting, and just like any good relationship, it takes some time (and some rather entertaining quests) for the tension to build between the two. Once they finally admit their love for one another, though, their undeniable compatibility shines through.
Ciara. Ciara is an Irish poet Eivor meets during the Wraths of the Druids' main story. She serves as an advisor to Flan Sinna and is an important part of the expansion. Eivor takes a liking to her early, and the two form a bond.
Best Romance In Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Estrid
Eivor helps Estrid by orchestrating a fake kidnapping. Before Estrid leaves for her homeland, she asks Eivor to speak with her, which leads to a night of passion.
As players discovered, Eivor Varinsdottir was actually the reincarnation of the Asgardian Isu Odin/Havi, and she's able to experience his history through visions by the Ravensthorpe mystic Valka.
Eivor says she cares for Randvi but won't take things further and they remain friends.
Eivor Varinsdottir (Runic: ᛅᛁᚢᛅᚱ; born 847), renowned as the Wolf-Kissed, was a Viking shieldmaiden and jarlskona from Norway who raided in what would become England during the late 9th century. She was the reincarnation of the Isu Odin, the chief of the Æsir who was revered as a god in Germanic and Norse mythology.

During the fishing trip Tarben will offer up his feelings to Eivor, giving you the chance to say that you feel the same, or to let him down easy. If you choose to go with Tarben, then this will become a permanent relationship, breaking off any other flings you might have going at the time.
How AC Valhalla's Male and Female Eivor are Both 'Canon' Early on in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players learn that the animus has trouble deciphering a male Eivor from Eivor for some reason. As such, the "canon" playthrough is the Let the Animus Decide option, in which players will play Eivor as well as male Eivor.
Those who romance Randvi immediately after her Taken for Granted quest will net a strike and a pretty bad tongue lashing from Sigurd. That being said, a strike can be considered a small price to pay.
Why is Eivor buried in America?
This is because Vinland was the name given to North America by Leif Erikson, the first recorded explorer to discover the region in around 1000 CE. This was over a century before Eivor's death, meaning she was the first person to travel to this region and ended up passing there.
Basim is the reincarnation of Loki, furious at Odin (now Eivor) and Týr (now Sigurd) for binding his son Fenrir and desperate to be reunited with his lover Aletheia (who is really Angrboda, Loki's partner in Norse myth).
The traitor is Galinn. He wanted Soma out of his way to fulfill the true fate he has seen in his deluded visions.
Players will, again, be able to pursue a gluttony of romantic options throughout the game, with the chance to engage in Viking weddings a very real option. Lead producer Julien Laferriere of Ubisoft Montreal revealed the feature in an interview with Eurogamer.
As for adultery against Randvi as opposed to with her, Eivor's flings escape Randvi's attention. For instance, sleeping with the Frankish noble Estrid at the end of the Essexe quest line will not affect Eivor's relationship with Randvi.
You must wait until they are separated to avoid impacting your loyalty with Sigurd. In mission Blood from a Stone, you must prevent yourself from punching Basim and Sigurd. In mission A Brewing Storm, give Dag his axe after you defeat him in battle to avoid impacting your loyalty with Sigurd.
"I don't necessarily mean romantic, but there is tension." She further clarified that there's no explicit flirting available between Kassandra and Eivor, but the two can forge a connection through a bit of a rivalry--both protagonists have a bit of an ego after all, and both take pleasure in outwitting and teasing ...
Grimhild advises her sons to regularise their alliance with Sigurd by marrying him to Gudrun. Grimhild gives Sigurd a love potion, and he falls in love with Gudrun.
While female Eivor is the canonical version, the game explains the character's diverging genders. It explains that the system is thrown off by the presence of Odin's DNA in Eivor's bloodline, leading the Animus to occasionally interpret Eivor's appearance as a male who resembles Odin.
Raised alongside Styrbjorn's son Sigurd, Eivor spent much of her youth seeking to gain glory and eliminate Kjotve to avenge her parents.
Does Eivor have a girlfriend?
After completing the quest, Petra will ask Eivor on an archery date. The player can choose to try and impress Petra with their archery skills or let her win. Either way, she will confess attraction for Eivor. At this point, the player can choose the romantic dialogue option to enter a romance with her.
Eivor meets Petra while hunting, and just like any good relationship, it takes some time (and some rather entertaining quests) for the tension to build between the two. Once they finally admit their love for one another, though, their undeniable compatibility shines through.
But what really changed my mind about the romance options in Valhalla is that there are options for more long-term relationships. And, unfortunately, you can only have one of these at a time.
Soma. Of all the people on this list, Soma is the most heartbreaking missed romance option. The entire Grantebridge quest is filled with long looks and subtly-flirty dialogue, suggesting a possible attraction. Also, when Soma writes Eivor, she talks about thinking of them fondly.
As such, each player can find the Viking partner of their dreams - but those seeking the absolute best romance option in AC Valhalla should pursue Petra in particular.
Choosing a male or a female Eivor is equally valid with no major repercussions beyond the character model. Things were very different in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, where choosing one made the other one the villain. There's nothing of that level of importance with Eivor.
But, when it came to the layers beneath Eivor's personality, he says he used Charlize Theron's Furiosa from “Mad Max: Fury Road” as one reference.
“MALE Eivor” does not exist. He is the character model for Odin under a different name, inserted into Valhalla to placate Ubisoft executives and male players, real or imagined, who can't bear to see themselves as a woman.
One is a prophecy that they will betray Sigurd, and the other is All-Father Odin himself. Every so often, Eivor experiences visions of Odin that try to make them choose glory over honor. If Eivor heeds the advice of the Norse god of wisdom and knowledge, players will receive the bad ending.
There are actually two choices to be made during the King Killer quest in the Sciropescire story arc. Right at the end of the boss fight, you'll be given the choice to send Ivarr to Valhalla or deny him Valhalla. It's up to you what you choose and this doesn't appear to have any bearing on the story.
Who should Eivor vote for?
The safest option is to pick either Aelfgar or Hunwald as it turns out the Bishop Herefrith is, well, only a member of the Order of the damn Ancients.
Eivor became Sigurd's adopted sister and thus his closest companion. This invoked Dag's jealousy, who believed that Eivor stole his destiny and would-be glory. Despite this, Dag kept these thoughts to himself and never told Sigurd, remaining loyal to him throughout their years together.
Announcing its early release last night, Ubisoft blamed "an unforeseen glitch in the Animus". As expected, this final dollop of Valhalla storyline sees Eivor wrap up her time in England and head off to North America one last time - where the game's opening shows she is buried.
Kassandra is Simply the Most Powerful Assassin Yet
With Kassandra being the canonical Assassin of the series, she retains all of those abilities which make members of the Order what they are while at the same time adding a bunch of hugely powerful abilities and artifacts to the equation.
In this same vein, Basim could be more directly connected to Altair, as while Altair's parents are never introduced, Basim is an Arabic name. Basim could be a direct ancestor of Altair and an indirect ancestor to Ezio, if Ubi didn't just retcon the whole different parental line thing.
It seems more possible Basim is related to another of Desmond's ancestors, Altair. This would also rule out the possibility that Basim is related to Ezio, since Ubisoft scriptwriter Darby McDevitt previously confirmed that while Ezio and Altair are related to Desmond, they aren't related to each other.
“You broke all my hopes.” It turns out that the son Basim was talking about, was the wolf son of Loki in Eivor's Norse Isu history. Odin and Tyr bound the wolf in the past, and Basim as a reincarnation of Loki is back to get revenge - he even delights at the wolf scars on 9th century Eivor's neck.
Ivarr challenges Eivor to a fight to the death; after his defeat, Eivor sends word to Ubba about his brother's death.
Alfred the Great is one of the two overarching antagonists of Assassin's Creed franchise, alongside Basim Ibn Ishaq. He serves as the central antagonist/anti-hero of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and a posthumous antagonist for the rest of the series.
Despite his best efforts, Hytham was never able to convince Eivor to become a full-fledged Hidden One. However, his alliance and friendship with her ultimately paved the way for the Brotherhood to become a force in England once again, changing the land forever.
Why is Sigurd special?
Sigurd is the reincarnation of Tyr, the Norse god of war and justice. This is highlighted by the fact that both sound the same and they end up having an arm amputated at some point.
Natakas is the romance option added to the game in the Legacy of the First Blade DLC for Kassandra during which she settles down and eventually has a child. Nakatas, being trained by the proto-Assassin Darius, is equal parts a formidable fighter as he is a sweetheart to Kassandra.
Once you've done the two quests with Petra, the next time you return to the settlement, you'll be able to move the relationship forward. Simply interact with her, and say "Shall we spend some time together?" and Petra will suggest some archery practice.
There's no repercussions for either choice, so players should go with whichever option sounds more entertaining to them. It seems equally likely that Eivor would have forgotten which brother they just slept with, so canonically speaking it seems like either answer would be fine as well.
After the date, Petra will reveal her feeling towards Eivor and the player can lean in for this kiss. The player can then interact with Petra in Eivors room and sleep with her.
Selecting 'I understand your anger' results in Sigurd staying in Norway and Eivor becomes the jarl of Ravensthorpe. Selecting 'Your place is here' results in the same outcome - Sigurd remains and Eivor becomes the jarl of Ravensthorpe (A Quiet Homecoming).
It is also known that Assassin's Creed Mirage will feature Basim Ibn Ishaq as its protagonist, who was also a central character in the recent AC Valhalla.
Pinned Locked Moved Unsolved Eivor's eye is missing after completing Dawn of Ragnarok and returning to England. So upon finishing dawn of Ragnarok and returning to England, Evior is still missing an eye, and by discussing this with fellow gamers I realized that this is a bug.
Upon Sigurd and King Aelfred parlay coming on to successful terms, Fulke entered and jeopardized the deal. Known as a Paladin, Fulke betrayed Sigurd and his company as she stated that Sigurd figured himself to be a God and that this a "blasphemous belief".

How does romancing Randvi affect the story?
Those who romance Randvi immediately after her Taken for Granted quest will net a strike and a pretty bad tongue lashing from Sigurd. That being said, a strike can be considered a small price to pay. Those who are impatient can romance Randvi right away with this in mind.
In 869, as a service of peace between the clans, Randvi was married off to Sigurd Styrbjornsson, the son of the Raven Clan's jarl Styrbjorn Sigvaldisson. Despite yearnings to become an adventurer as she wished, Randvi chose to embrace her role as Sigurd's wife in what was considered a utilitarian marriage.
The main part of the game begins in 872 CE, by which point Eivor is supposed to be a 25-year-old Viking.
While the player's choice doesn't affect the story, there's still a canon gender for Eivor, which is female. But instead of this being a random choice given during development, the game also justifies this with the character's name.
As for adultery against Randvi as opposed to with her, Eivor's flings escape Randvi's attention. For instance, sleeping with the Frankish noble Estrid at the end of the Essexe quest line will not affect Eivor's relationship with Randvi.

Spoilers follow. "The Wrath of the Druids" sees Eivor traveling to Dublin, Ireland in order to answer the summons of her cousin Barid. While Eivor has long thought Barid to be dead and gone, it turns out that he's become the Norse king of Dublin.
