Does Adam still work for Bryan?
Lara Spencer Returns to HGTV on "Everything But the House"
Adam Weir was Bryan Baeumler's project manager on Renovation Island (also known as Island of Bryan). As fans called out, Adam has not appeared on season 3 of the show. Bryan revealed that Adam is forging his own path in Canada.
A family vacation to the Bahamas turned into so much more when Bryan and Sarah took an enormous leap of faith and decided to spend $2 million on purchasing an abandoned resort located in San Andros, Bahamas.
Renovation Island stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are returning to HGTV, but this time they won't be at Cerula del Mar. Instead, the couple will be joining season four of Rock the Block.
Who owns Caerula Mar Club in the Bahamas? The owners of the luxurious resort property are married couple Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, who visited South Andros in the Bahamas in 2017. The vacation inspired them to purchase an older resort there that was in severe need of renovations, Country Living explained.
Adam, who the Baeumlers consider their fifth child, was a huge part of Island of Bryan, but now that he has a girlfriend, he's staying back in Toronto to put down some roots. But, look forward to future visits with Adam. He is part of the Baeumler family.

Even if the network doesn't put anything directly into the resort, they do, of course pay the Baeumlers. Although their direct salaries aren't known, the Baeumlers are in a unique situation, as Renovation Island is produced by Bryland Entertainment, which is owned by Bryan himself.
Bryan has now built the 'Baeumler Brand' to include Baeumler Construction, Baeumler Approved, Baeumler Productions, Baeumler Media, and the newly launched Baeumler Family Foundation for Kids. Each and every one of his companies prides itself on professionalism, respect, and quality workmanship.
When they first arrived at the island, Sarah explains that she and Bryan started homeschooling their three youngest children. However, as construction picked up and their schedules got hectic, they made the executive decision to enroll Lincoln, Josephine, and Charlotte in a local Bahamian school.

"We're incredibly fortunate to have Chef Alvarez and Chef Hoedino at the helm of our kitchen," said General Manager Margaret Gratzinger.
Enjoy all that the Caerula Mar culinary experience has to offer. We are proud to have Chef Carlos Alvarez leading our culinary team.
Around a final curve, Caerula Mar emerged like a mirage. General managers and hospitality industry veterans, Ron and Margaret Gratzinger, greeted us like old friends. The resort's emphasis on sustainable and natural materials evokes a “barefoot breezy” feel with a luxurious vibe—we couldn't wait to kick off our shoes.
The Baeumlers have bought an abandoned beachfront resort on South Andros island, the largest and least developed of the Bahamas islands, renaming it the Caerula Mar Club. They have moved their entire family to the resort to live while they rebuild it, and hope to open within six months or lose it, without its cashflow.
If you missed the start of Renovation Island's third season, you may be wondering what happened to Adam Weir, Sarah and Bryan Baeumler's former project manager. As viewers saw in Episode 2, “A for Effort,” Bryan chose not to return to the Bahamas.
The resort is officially open for business and is already getting rave reviews for its atmosphere and service, not to mention the Instagram-worthy beach.

On the grand finale of Bryan Inc. the couple finally unveiled the Highview home, which had been completely transformed under Sarah's “green” project management skills. Take a look at this gorgeous, Burlington, Ontario, home with its intricate details, lavish space and rich finishes.
According to an HGTV Canada press release, the first four episodes of Island of Bryan were “the most-watched individual episodes of any program on the network in over 10 years.” Naturally, after such success, the show got picked up by HGTV America and, as a result, earned itself a new name.
Sarah and Bryan Baeumler first got the idea to renovate a place on South Andros Island when they visited in 2017. Country Living reminds us they found the 18-room, 22-villa vacation resort while there — and they wanted to take it to the next level to create their own slice of paradise that others could visit.
Have you ever dreamed of hopping on a plane and starting a new life on a tropical island? Well, on the show "Renovation Island," you can follow along as Bryan and Sarah Baeumler do just that. They pack up their lives and four children and head to South Andros, a lush island in The Bahamas.
With all of that in mind, reading Bryan's comments about how much it cost to renovate Caerula Mar Club makes a lot of sense. “Yeah, we're in it. We're in pretty deep.” As The Wrap's article reveals, the Baeumler spent $2 million to buy Caerula Mar Club and expected to pay an additional $4 million to renovate it.
Bryan is the president and CEO of his construction company, Baeumler Quality Construction and Renovations Inc. He also launched Baeumler Approved, a website that connects homeowners with reputable home services companies in Canada.
It then states: "So with 13 episodes in season one, it's not crazy to assume the network paid at least $650,000 for the entire first batch of episodes." According to CheatSheat, Bryan and Sarah paid over $10million to renovate Caerula Mar Club.

How old are the Baumler kids?
You don't need as much stuff as you think. He says the children—Quintyn, 13, Charlotte, 11, Lincoln, 8, and Josephine, 6—are just as happy playing with rocks and shells on the beach as they would be with any of their toys at home.
If you should have the pleasure of meeting teenage equestrian rider Quintyn Baeumler, you will come away with an appreciation of the possibilities that he represents to the equestrian community and, indeed, to other communities well beyond it.
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler have spent the past four years in constant renovation. Between their business venture (the Bahamas-based Caerula Mar), and now trying to settle their family into their new Florida home, things have been busy, to say the least.
The star of HGTV Canada's Island of Bryan says he and his family were “lucky” to escape Hurricane Dorian.
WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — A tornado touched down in parts of Wellington and Loxahatchee after it formed from the outer rain band of Hurricane Ian, according to the National Weather Service. Officials said winds peaked at 90 mph as it ripped through parts of Wellington near the Wanderers Golf Course on Tuesday night.
Today, Wellington is an affluent and thriving community that is home to upscale gated communities and equestrian estates.
An EF-1 tornado with winds of 90 mph tore thru Wellington + Loxahatchee on Tuesday night, the National Weather Service said. Officials said Thursday that the storm, which was 150 yards wide, cut an 8.3-mile path through Palm Beach County. The storm was part of an outer rain band from Hurricane Ian.
They got married, had their son Quintyn, then Baeumler started filming Disaster DIY. Another baby, daughter Charlotte, arrived and their 1,000-square-foot house was desperately in need of a change. So Baeumler decided to take some time off and build his family their dream home, only to have it turn into a new series.

Is the Island of Bryan up and running?
The big question now—after so many ups and downs—is whether or not Renovation Island ever got back on its feet. And, much to the delight of HGTV viewers, it did! While Bryan and Sarah closed the resort in March 2020 due to the pandemic, they were able to reopen later that year in October.
